Icing Chart - find the right icing for the job! Obtaining Better Baking Results – A Baking Troubleshooting Guide
Save the paper inserts & cardboard backs from your Wilton pans & products! Take a look at them - they contain valuable info, such as how many cups of batter needed, how much icing is needed, etc. Suggestion: Keep your paper inserts stored in plastic sleeves inside a binder. To make it easy to locate the one you need, use tabs and sort them by pan type (round, oval, shaped, etc.) If you've misplaced yours, you may be able to find it on Wilton's Shaped pan instruction search A note about shaped character pans: These pans are for your personal use only. Please be aware that particular characters (i.e., Tinkerbelle, Lightening McQueen, Barbie, etc.) are copyrighted material - you are not allowed to sell cakes with those images on them without obtaining the proper permission or license from the copyright owner (Disney, Mattel, etc.) Wilton Cake Decorating Videos on YouTube Fun and informative cake decorating TV show on PBS, check it out! |

About Your Instructor
I absolutely love cake decorating and enjoy teaching this craft to my students! Cake decorating is a wonderful art form and a way to express yourself creatively.
My goal is to make every class as fun and informative as possible. I'm an independent, fully trained Wilton Method Instructor. I was honored with Wilton's "Rookie of the Year" Award for 2008. I have taught over 800 students to date, and counting! I'm a member of the International Cake Exploration Societe (ICES), a world wide organization dedicated to excellence in the confectionery arts. I've competed in a local gingerbread competition and won an honorable mention. Besides cake decorating, I also enjoy desktop publishing and website design.
I encourage my students to be creative! There's so much you can do with the Wilton Method decorating techniques taught in our classes!
If you have any questions or feedback about Wilton classes, products, cake pops, candy making, cookies, cupcakes, etc., please feel free to ask me or send me an Email - I welcome your input and am always happy to help you!
I am an independent contractor, and as such I am speaking for myself and not on behalf of the Company. Any opinions and comments on this website are stricly my own.
Feedback I want all my students to have the best Wilton class experience possible, and your feedback is welcome! If there's anything you would like to tell me about this class - what you liked, anything you didn't like, something you would like to see added to future classes, something you think I should add to my website that would be helpful, anything you want me to pass along to Wilton - please Email me, mention the class you're referring to (Decorating Basics, Flowers & Cake Design or Gum Paste & Fondant) and your feedback. |
